ETEM 4590 - Facilities Management (3) Credit Hours
Methods of designing new facilities and expanding or renovating existing facilities. Planning facility layout, facility location, and activities are presented. Topics such as analysis of work space, work flow, material handling systems, facility planning data collection methods, process flow-charting, the supply chain management, and economics are covered. Fall Semester. Lecture 2 hours and laboratory 1 hour. Prerequisites: MGT 2130 or MATH 2100 or ENCE 2220 , and ENCE 3520 with minimum grades of C or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Differential course fee will be assessed.
