ETEM 4540 - Value Management (3) Credit Hours
Introduces Value Engineering concepts and demonstrates the application of techniques which maximize the value of products, processes, construction, or services. Topics covered include functional analysis, functional costing, generation of alternative designs, evaluation of alternative designs, lifecycle cost analysis, proposal preparation, and presentations. Project required. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENCE 3520 with a minimum grade of C, or department head approval.Differential course fee will be assessed.
