ETEM 3540 - Work Measurement and Design (3) Credit Hours
Techniques for analysis and improvement of work methods; principles of motion economy, process charts, work sampling, standard data development, performance rating, predetermined time systems, and wage incentive systems. Emphasis on man-machine interfaces (ergonomics) and productivity improvements. Computer applications. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENCE 2220 with a minimum grade of C or MGT 2140 and MATH 1830 or 1910 with minimum grades of C or department head approval. May be registered as ENIE 3540 . Credit not allowed in both ETEM 3540 and ENIE 3540 . Differential course fee will be assessed.
