ENIE 4530 - Value Engineering

Introduction to concepts of Value Engineering and demonstration of the application of techniques to maximize the value in a product, process, or service while minimizing cost. Topics include functional analysis, functional costing, generation of alternative designs, evaluation of alternative designs, proposal preparation and presentation. Project required. Prerequisites: ENCE 3520 with minimum grade of C or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
