ENIE 3510 - Operations Research I (3) Credit Hours
Introduction to operations research and mathematical modeling for decision analysis and optimization related to problems in industrial, commercial, and public systems. The emphasis is on the use of linear mathematical programming and integer programming. Additional techniques for networks, inventory, queuing and non-linear programming problems introduced. Introduction to optimization software. Fall semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENCE 2220 with minimum grade of C; MATH 2200 , MATH 2450 and MATH 2550 or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
