ENEV 4310 - Survey of Environmental Engineering (3) Credit Hours
A survey of environmental engineering practice and principles. Fundamental principles including material balances; energy balances; fluid mechanics, reaction kinetics. Applications to water, air and solid systems. Selected municipal and industrial case studies. Does not count toward Environmental, Chemical or Civil Engineering undergraduate programs. On demand. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: minimum of four semesters of laboratory sciences; MATH 1830 or MATH 1910/MATH 1911 or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
