ENCE 4620 - Transportation Engineering II


(3) Credit Hours

Planning, design, and operation of transportation facilities in air, rail, water, and highway systems; characteristics of transportation modes; interaction between modes; mode interfaces; transportation technology; perspectives and economics of rural and urban transportation systems. Introduction to traffic engineering; bicycle and pedestrian facilities are also covered.  Fall semester. Lecture 3 hours.  Prerequisites: ENCE 3620  with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
