ECON 4660 - Economics of Regulation and Anti-Trust


(3) Credit Hours

Analysis of government policies to alter or maintain market structures and the economic implications of these policies. Topics include anti-trust legislation and cases, economic regulation of natural monopolies, mergers, price discrimination, collusion, oligopoly, and anti-competitive practices.  Prerequisites: ECON 1010  and ECON 1020  with minimum grades of C or department head approval. Junior Standing.  Differential course fee will be assessed.
