ECON 4170 - Women in the Economy

The role of women in the U.S. economy. An economic analysis of women’s labor force participation, discrimination against women in the labor market, women’s paid and unpaid work, the child care industry, and female poverty. On demand.  Prerequisites: ECON 1020  with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Junior Standing.  May be registered as WGSS 4170 . Credit not allowed in both ECON 4170 and WGSS 4170 . Differential course fee will be assessed.
