CPSC 1100 - Fundamentals of Computer Science


(4) Credit Hours

An introduction to computer science concepts and computer software development using a higher level language. Algorithms, flowcharting, programming, and documentation of numerical and non-numerical problems. Introduction to computer science terminology and concepts such as computer hardware and computer application areas.Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours.Prerequisites: MATH ACT 26 or above or MATH 1130, 1710, 1720, 1730, 1830, 1910, 1920, 1950, or 1960 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval.  Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.Standard Letter Grade
