ART 4510 - The Artist’s Books

This course introduces book making as a printed art form. Emphasis is placed on experimentation with a wide range of media to create a number of handmade books. The printmaking methods will include such techniques as intaglio, relief, photo-etching, photo-lithography and monoprint. Studio hours 6. On demand. Prerequisites: ART 2900r and ART 2530 or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
