This course examines the basis of identity in contemporary art. Much of the art of the last half of the twentieth century has explored the politics of identity in challenging several cultural icons. This course will investigate how contemporary artists respond to the challenge of investigating and articulating these concepts. On demand. Prerequisites: ART 2150 or department head approval.
