MOSA 2002 - Developing Identity, Strengths, and Self-Perception II (1) Credit Hours
This course is designed to assist students in identifying their core identity features and their foundation as an individual. Students are challenged to identify black and white thinking patterns surrounding their core identity for the purpose of establishing balance. Social rules and social confusions are addressed in detail as students develop strategies for managing social miscues and cultivating social tools to build confidence in a variety of settings. This also includes effective ways to build a support network to help achieve goals while also advocating for role preferences. Finally, students explore the connection between personal strengths and their chosen major and career goals, developing professional mentors and exploring professional opportunities.
