GEOL 4550 - Remote Sensing for Geoscientists


(4) Credit Hours

In-depth application and mastery of the theories and principles of quantitative remote sensing, and analysis of various remotely sensed data specifically focused on different geologic, environmental, and hydrologic applications. Implementation of advanced digital image processing techniques to design and complete a project. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.  Prerequisites: GEOL 2100 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Laboratory fee will be assessed.
