MLNG 1250 - Introduction to Latin American Cultures

This course is an interdisciplinary introduction to Latin American Cultures. Through a variety of disciplines, students will explore the vibrant cultures of the many countries of Latin America, with special attention to their literatures (in translation), music and films. Topics will vary, but may include migration, social movements, literary traditions, revolutions, race, histories, gender, religions, and linguistic backgrounds.
