ENCH 5280 - Air Pollution Control Systems

(4) Credit Hours

Emission control systems for industrial and power generating processes, stack sampling methods, air monitoring, dispersion of pollutants. The mechanics of particles suspended in the gaseous medium including particle motion, coagulation, and aerodynamic capture of particles. Social, economic, and political processes involved in pollution control. Prerequisite: ENGR 5340 or department head approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
