MUS 1710 - Musicianship I (2) Credit Hours
Mastery of fundamental skills in musicianship including: notation; rhythm and meter; pitch, keys, scales, and modes; intervals, and triads; and the practical application of these skills to musical settings in a variety of styles. Additionally, basic procedures in music notation software. Fall Semester. Class hours 2. Prerequisites: Acceptable score on Diagnostic exam or department head approval. Corequisites: MUS 1730 Musicianship Lab I and MUS 1750 Aural Skills I.
