ENCE 5640 - Advanced Structural Analysis and Design

Advanced topics in structural engineering will be presented. Typical topics are: bending and buckling of plates and shells; non-linear analysis of cables; analysis and design of such structures as thin concrete shells, pressure vessels, cable roof structures, machined and cast mechanical elements. Prerequisite: approval of instructor. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
