MILS 1040 - Foundations of Officership

(2) Credit Hours

Discusses organization and role of the Army. Emphasizes basic life skills pertaining to fitness and communication. Analyzes Army values and expected ethical behavior. Adventure training skills lab introduces land navigation, rifle marksmanship, mountaineering, and optional field-training exercises.  Corequisites: MILS 1040L  or department head approval.
