HHP 4280 - Exercise Prescription in Health and Disease

(3) Credit Hours

A comprehensive overview of the physical, physiological, and metabolic responses of the human body to exercise testing and training in both health and disease; the processes involved in prescribing safe and effective therapeutic exercise for healthy individuals as well as for patients with heart and lung HHP, diabetes, and obesity will be discussed. Prerequisites: HHP 3170  with a minimum grade of C and a minimum 2.5 overall GPA or department head approval. Corequisites: HHP 4290  or department head approval.
