ENME 4500 - Mechanical Engineering Design Project (3) Credit Hours
Capstone mechanical engineering design experience; design of a thermal and/or mechanical system; consideration of engineering standards and realistic constraints that include most of the following considerations: economic, environmental, sustainability, manufacturability, ethical, health and safety, social, and political; application of the design process; oral presentations and written design report required. Spring semester. Lecture 2 hours, design lab 2 hours. Prerequisites: CPEN 3850 , ENCE 3850 , ENEE 3850 or ENME 3850 ; ENME 4420 , ENME 4430 or department head approval. Pre or Corequisites: ENME 4470 or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
