A historical approach to the pivotal ideas, systems of thought, and creations of the Western world from approximately 1600 C.E. to the present. Emphasis on matters of literary structure, style, and content. Pre or Corequisites: ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1011 or ENGL 1020 or UHON 1010 and UHON 1020 or department head approval.
