EDUC 4180 - Middle Grades Organization, Curriculum, and Instruction

(3) Credit Hours

A theoretical and practical orientation to the middle grades, holistically addressing the personal, social, and academic needs of young adolescents. Emphasizes organizational issues, integration of curriculum, and appropriate strategies for instruction and assessment.  Prerequisites: Checkpoint 1 or department head approval.
