Algebra-based introduction to classical electricity and magnetism, optics, and the concepts of modern physics. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: PHYS 1030 and PHYS 1030L, or department head approval. Pre or Corequisites: PHYS 1040L, or department head approval.
