THSP 2300 - Contemporary Francophone African Cinema

An overview of recent African films from former French colonies with attention to issues of identity, heritage, and former colonial status. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1011 or ENGL 1020 or UHON 1010 or UHON 1020 or department head approval. May be registered as HUM 2300 or MLNG 2300. No foreign language credit. Credit allowed in only one of the three courses.
