BIOL 4510 - Environmental and Ecological Genetics (3) Credit Hours
An integration of ecology, genetics, and evolutionary biology with emphasis on applications of genetic concepts in three major areas: molecular analysis, developmental and population genetics. Contemporary approaches to studying evolution in natural populations will be presented. Includes case studies and journal readings to examine evolutionary effects of ecological interactions among organisms. Prerequisites: BIOL 3060 and BIOL 3250 and BIOL 3350 with minimum grades of C, or department head approval. May be registered as ESC 4510. Credit not allowed in both BIOL 4510 and ESC 4510.
