BIOL 4430 - Bioremediation

A study of the potential use of biological systems in the remediation of areas contaminated with toxic pollutants. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisite: BIOL 3060 and BIOL 3250 and BIOL 3350 with minimum grades of C; and BIOL 4220; and CHEM 3010; or department head approval. Corequisite: BIOL 4430L or department head approval. May be registered as ESC 4430 Credit not allowed in both BIOL 4430 and ESC 4430. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
