PSY 5100 - Statistics and Research Methods in Psychology I (3) Credit Hours
Review and extension of undergraduate psychological statistics and research methods. Focus on computer analysis using parametric and nonparametric techniques including analysis of variance and regression. Prerequisites: Background and/or experience in statistics for the social sciences required or a course equivalent to UTC PSY 2010 and admission to a psychology master’s program or department head approval.Discussion of problems in the application of psychological research methodology in nonlaboratory settings. Emphasis on the interpretation and relevance of research results for the practitioner. Prerequisite: PSY 2010 and admission to the Research master’s program or approval of the graduate coordinator.
