CPSC 5440 - Introduction to Machine Learning

Artificial Intelligence-based algorithms and applications related to both supervised and unsupervised learning as implemented in software systems. Algorithms include neural networks, Bayesian networks, decision trees, and Genetic Algorithms. Applications include forecasting, planning, classification and other current topics. Prerequisite: CPSC 5020 or placement or department head approval. Standard letter grade. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
