PHYS 3420 - Electricity and Magnetism


(4) Credit Hours

Basic laws of electromagnetism, electric and magnetic properties of materials, Maxwell’s equations, boundary value problems, electromagnetic waves. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours, recitation 2 hours. Prerequisite: PHYS 3410, MATH 2450, MATH 2550 or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
