PMBA 5850 - Managerial Accounting


The purpose of this course is to introduce the PMBA student to the latest theory and application of the accounting function to the decision-making and control function in a modern organization. The course will be structured around a framework based on opportunity cost analysis and modern organizational theory. Prerequisite: PMBA 5020 with a grade of C or better or department head approval. Open to PMBA majors only. Credit not allowed in both PMBA 5850 and ACC 5850. Credit allowed in both PMBA 5850 and EMBA 6100 only with special approval of department head. Standard letter grade. Differential course fee will be assessed.
