COUN 5710 - Internship in Secondary School Counseling (3) Credit Hours
Supervised experience in a secondary school counseling position for at least 300 clock hours. Students are to participate in the full array of guidance related activities under the supervision of a licensed secondary school counselor. One hour of weekly site supervision is required. Group supervision performed by a faculty member is also provided. The internship will require the completion of a substantial written report detailing a project completed while in the internship. Graded S/NC. Prerequisite: COUN 5550, 5470, and 5760 or department head approval.
