COUN 5700 - Internship in Elementary School Counseling (3) Credit Hours
Supervised experience in an elementary school counseling position for at least 300 clock hours. Students are to participate in the full array of guidance related activities under the supervision of a licensed elementary school counselor. One hour weekly site supervision is required. Group supervision performed by a faculty member is also provided. The internship will require the completion of a substantial written report detailing a project completed while in the internship. Graded S/NC. Prerequisite: COUN 5550, 5470 and 5760 or department head approval.
