Patterns, processes, and mechanisms of evolution; including adaptive and neutral evolution, population genetics, molecular evolution, the origin of species and higher taxonomic groups, adaptation and behavior, recognition of evolutionary relationships, and significance of evolution to humans. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1130 with minimum grades of C or department head approval.
