ANTH 3050 - Sex and Gender


(3) Credit Hours

Evolutionary and cross-cultural analysis of formation of sex and gender in human societies, with special focus on the relative status of women, and the development of masculine and feminine differences in communication and activities. Prerequisite: ANTH 1520 or ANTH 2070 or ANTH 2080 or ANTH 2100, or department head approval. May be registered as WSTU 3050. No credit for both ANTH 3050 and WSTU 3050.
