PHYS 1019 - Light and Life


(4) Credit Hours

Examines the methods of investigation that lead to our understanding of light and its role in nature and human development. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisite: Math ACT subscore of 22 or higher, MATH 1006 or MATH 1010 or MATH 1130 or MATH 1830 or MATH 1710 or MATH 1720 or MATH 1910 or MATH 1920 or department head approval. Credit not allowed toward the chemistry, physics, geology, biology or environmental sciences majors. May be registered as BIOL 1019 or CHEM 1019. Credit allowed in only one of the three courses. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Corequisite: PHYS 1019L.
