PSY 2010 - Research Methodology: Introductory Statistics in Psychology


(3) Credit Hours

Descriptive and inferential statistics with computer analysis of data from psychological and other social sciences. Traditional and modern descriptive techniques, correlation and regression analysis, probability concepts, inferential techniques on means through analysis of variance, power analysis, and selected nonparametric techniques are presented. The use of state-of-the-art computer programs for analysis of data is emphasized in the corequisite laboratory. Every semester. Prerequisite: Math ACT subscore of 22 or higher, MATH 1006 or department head approval. Corequisite: PSY 2040.
