ENEE 4350 - Robotics and Controls Research I (3) Credit Hours
Interesting and challenging projects are assigned in the area of robotics, power electronics and controls. Programming background is required in addition to knowledge of the following software’s programs: Matlab/Simulink, Arduino and LabVIEW. Projects are expected to be completed and demonstrated during the semester with a good technical report and a poster presentation. Projects are mostly hands-on and involves designing, programming, debugging, and testing skills. Written and oral communication skills will be developed through documentation of research, creation and publishing of a student research paper and presentation to peers. Faculty and sometimes the students come up with project ideas before a final project is assigned. Fall semester. Lecture 1 hour, project 4 hours. Prerequisites: ENEE 2250 or CPSC 1110 , ENEE 3720 and ENEE 3790 or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
