HHP 3100 - Applied Research Methods


(3) Credit Hours

This course will focus on providing the student with a solid foundation in research methodology. Applied examples will be used throughout the course to give meaning to the subject matter, along with an opportunity for students to develop their own research ideas. Overview and understanding of 1) research ethics, 2) research design, 3) data analysis and interpretation, 4) reviewing research literature, and 5) scholarly writing. Prerequisites: completion of a general education statistics course or department head approval. HHP majors.
