ENME 3040 - Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamics (3) Credit Hours
A continuation of ENME/ENCH 3030 (Thermodynamics) with an emphasis on mechanical engineering applications that involve energy (availability), power and refrigeration cycles, gas-vapor mixtures (psychometrics), and chemically reacting gases (combustion). Lecture 3 hours. Spring semester. Prerequisites: ENME/ENCH 3030 with minimum grade of C or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed.
