Application of statistical methods to biological and environmental problems, including sampling designs, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance and nonparametric statistics. Laboratory includes using the Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and other software to analyze scientific data. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Standard letter grade.
