MGT 3560 - Management Science


(3) Credit Hours

Concepts and applications of quantitative techniques for business decision making under deterministic and stochastic conditions. The course will focus on model building, analysis, interpretation and decision making using linear programming, integer programming, goal programming, decision analysis, transportation problems, assignment problems, and transshipment problems. Fall semester. Prerequisites: MGT 1000  or CPSC 1000  with a minimum grade of C; MGT 2120  with a minimum grade of C; MATH 1130  or MATH 1710  with a minimum grade of C or MATH 1720  or MATH 1830  or MATH 1910 or MATH 1950 , or Math ACT score of 26 or better; or department head approval. Junior standing. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
